Tuesday Book Reviews




  1. Every Tuesday I will review a book I have read.
  2. I review Indie books upon request (though I'm usually a few months out so be prepared to wait)
  3. I only review traditionally published books I want to review, so don't ask if your book is published through a publisher. (If you have published through a publisher, but the book you want me to review is not, I will still review it.)
  4. I post reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, my author page on FB, and you can request that the review be published anywhere else you market your book. (I have Smashwords, Writer's beat, booklikes, and several other accounts to review from.)
  5. The reviews are honest, and non-negotiable.  Don't complain if you get a bad review, though I am fairly lenient.
  6. I only review Fiction (my favorites are Fantasy and Sci-Fi so you will probably get a more favorable review if those are your genres).  Any requests for non-Fiction, especially self-help, will be ignored.
  7. I do NOT review Erotic.  I know there are a lot of people out there with Romance novels.  There is a fine line between Romance and Erotic.  Be VERY careful if you submit me a Romance novel.  If I find it to be smut I will destroy it in my review.  Basically, if it were made into a movie, and wouldn't pass for a PG-13 movie, don't submit it.

  9. IMPORTANT -  Because i'm backed up, I haven't been replying to e-mails.  Remember, I'm an author, too, and I do this on the side to help others out with reviews and exposure.  I may not respond to your e-mail for weeks or a month, but I'm keeping the requests in order, and I will get back to you.  Be patient.

    I'm interested in sending you a review request but have a question about your policy. In the "no erotica" section, you have the statement "Basically, if it were made into a movie, and wouldn't pass for a PG-13 movie, don't submit it." It seems like this applies only to romance novels, but I want to make sure. My novel is a horror and would definitely be an R-rated movie but more for violence and language. Does that disqualify me or should I go ahead and send my request?
